In this presentation, we share the story of a cow named Kayli who escaped a slaughterhouse in Upper Darby, PA and ultimately was rescued and sent to Woodstock Farm Animal Sanctuary in New York. Marianne Bessey will share her love for cows and describe the challenges she faced when rescuing Kayli. She will touch on the plight of cows in the United States; their abuse in factory farming, the leather industry and the rodeo.
